I hear you. No, It's all LED's. I can be a cheap bastard and just run it straight and spend 3 bucks on small stuff but then i can't remove the pack.
I guess it really boils down to how you want it to look. if you want to use solderless connectors thats cool, just get the water proof ones, i took pics on my phone. basically tapped into the back of the lower tri bar light, isolated the run/brake/ground and ran it back to the pack, and used resistors and diodes to make the run/brake function. it's that simple.
I am breaking the steps down to make it easy to follow. if you're interested, send me an email and i'll send it out as soon as i'm done with it. like i mentioned, i just had back surgery and i'm doing it between medicated naps.
Good luck on the recovery! I'll be interested to see, but I used the CD ki. I already had their turns all the way around with a BadLands Illuminator Pro and Signal Dynamics Back-off module. When I added the TP to my SG I used their LEDS in the rear and their harness.
To the lighting Guru's, I installed a the tour pak wrap around LED on my tour pak. Everything works but I would like to have the brake light work like the Kuryakn Panacea tail light that I have in place.
If I tap into the power line going from the tail light assembly to the brake light will the tour pak lights flash like the tail does?
Will the added led lights overload the Kuryakn control board?
Ideally I would like to have brake/turn/run on the tour pak. What would this require if I can't just tap into the above mentioned system.
