To the lighting Guru's, I installed a the tour pak wrap around LED on my tour pak. Everything works but I would like to have the brake light work like the Kuryakn Panacea tail light that I have in place.
If I tap into the power line going from the tail light assembly to the brake light will the tour pak lights flash like the tail does?
Will the added led lights overload the Kuryakn control board?
Ideally I would like to have brake/turn/run on the tour pak. What would this require if I can't just tap into the above mentioned system.

The LED Tourpak light assembly is a running / brake / turn signal assembly. If yours isn't operating like that it is wired incorrectly! As far as making it a flashing brake light, I wouldn't know enough to tell you how to do that.
The wrap around unit is that E-bay type. The middle light is run and brake, but the left and right sections are run only.
I was thinking if I wired it from the tail light assembly I could get the flashing then brake and the side sections would blink with my regular signal lights.
The HD part is BRAKE/TURN/RUN. I just had one installed on my 2012 FLHTK. I also have the Kuryakyn Panacea system and was wondering the same thing. Even though the wrap around doesn't have the same action as the Panacea's, it is definitely eye catching.
Stang951 thanks for the lead to CD. I'll contact them tomrrow to see what they mean by the extra controller if I'm running the Panacea unit.
What part of LA are you in?
Stan60 I'll post up when I get some information from CD.
Theres also the "get back" modules, one of them might work getting your wrap to work light the Kury lights.. I tried to get my ebay wrap to be turn and all lights brake but so far no luck. I tried for a while and now Ive just said hell with it and leave it just run/brake. Maybe you can get it working and let us know.
Well, I called Custom Dynamics today, great service department.
The answer I was given was yes they can make the wrap around r/b/t.
You need to add the Magic-TPU and the TPU-Pan. They also said to be sure you have a stablizer on your bike to handle all of the LED lights.
stan60 To get the special TPU-Pan you have to order over the phone. They don't have it listed, it works in conjunction with the Panacea unit.
hd rolling If you don't have the Panacea all you need is the Magic-TPU. Do you have a load stabilizer unit?
They have great customer service called back with information and sent an e-mail with information.
Great to hear, let us know how it works out. I have the custom dynamics in the front and rear so yes I have the CD load equalizer already.
I'd like to hear that it works before I order anything else.
