I opted for the Cycle Visions cv4808c tag mount/tail light combo,,totally hides the oem tail light hole, mounts thru the turn signal bar mounting holes and is led..because I went detachable on my 2013 FLHTK.

I think most of you are missing his question.... ^^^^^^^
I am putting on a new custom fender on my Ultra classic and the tag will be on the lower fender. Has anyone a suggestion on what to do with the old ugly license bracket that holds up the tour pak. I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on what I can do to remove or modify the bracket so it looks better.
Thank you for your input.
Are you talking about the bracket that is left when you remove the tourpak on your bike? I think on the pre-2009 Electra Glides that bracket has to be cut off in order to be removed. I have a 2007 UC and did not see a way to simply unbolt it. I think the newer models that bracket is configured differently and is easier to remove. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
I opted to leave the license bracket on my bike and use the Haulen *** license tag bracket for my license plate.

On my 2013 Limited, the tag mount is one piece to the oem tourpack rack, hence the changing over the taillight/tag mount to the CycleVision unit and then I installed the detachable tourpack rack..
If it is removed, something has to take its place to hold up the tour rack.

If I remove the tag bracket, I will need to put something else in its place. It holds up the tour bracket.
Thanks
