Anyone using these Cams?I just put them in my bike(2011 street glide)I'm still doing some cosmetic upgrades so i have not tuned or got on the bike yet. Just wanted to know what people thought of them?
I had the Redshift 575 cams in my 2007 FLSTF, 103 build with 9.8:1 CP and Basiley heads, roller rockers, some other stuff. They were a bit noisy as I recall.
They come on good after 3000 rpm, i could not get the TMAX I had to dial in, only made 91HP and 100 FT/# torque. I think there was more there- I should have went back to tune with the SERT.
Enjoy your cams.
Know three guys that put them in then took them out for Woods cams. Mostly noise issues, some tuning issues. Good luck with yours. Two went to Wood 777 one to Wood 555. I put the 555 in my 12 FLHX for that issue

That's interesting.
Most say that Woods are noisy, or I should say many that I know personally and, otherwise( meaning some on this site)say that the Woods are noisy.
I didn't think the Wood was noisy at all. It was as quiet as the stock system. This issue can also be related to properly adjusted push rods and good lifters too I imagine but none of the guys I know with properly installed wood cams have noise issues with the 555 or 777
My RS575s are noisy but I didn't install them. I know it has a non adjustable PR in it so I don't know how the preload is set or if they are to long or short. So I don't want to say it is the cam just yet. I think the fact the base circle is smaller than a standard cam is what causes the noise issues due to the rocker geometry being off if a standard length rod is used.
I've had the 575's for 3 years. Used them in the stock 96 inch engine and kept them when I went to the 103 kit. I changed the lifters and pushrods when I did the install. IMO they don't make any more noise than any other aftermarket cam. My bike hasn't been on a dyno, so I can't tell you what the numbers look like. It was tough tuning down low until Fuel Moto provided a really great base map for my PCV. This cam comes on hard about 2500 rpm and pulls through 5500. I ride two up at least half the time with no issues.
