stage one is pipes, open A/C and tuner. There are many options and many opinions.
Do you plan on doing any engine mods besides the stage one? What kinda budget you have? You just want it to have more power and run cooler?
All I want is run cooler and easier. I'm not going to anything that I can,t do.
Probably in steps...can't I do the air cleaner and then later pipes and later remap. Again I'm a newbie so I need guidance from those who know.
Thanks in advance
Hap
I hear you shadow..
So can I just do the air cleaner stage one? And see if that makes me happy?
Or do I need to do it all to keep the bike In Balance and running well?
Thanks
Hap

It would be much wiser to buy the parts to make up a stage 1 as you can afford them and leave them in their boxes until you are able to install everything in one go. All you will achieve by fitting things one at a time is make your bike run less well, until you put the final piece of the jigsaw in place.
JMO, save your money while you research the exhaust sound you want, then, buy the exhaust, intake, and tuner (SEPST, TTS, or PV). Install the intake and exhaust then take the bike to a good tuner and pay him to tune it.
Then forget all your problems and just ride the wheels off of it!
Check into XEID's through nightrider.com or DK customs (dk is a sponsor here) You can do pipes and/or A/c with this option...it's not a tuner but will add fuel to the mix and will cool down the motor. Then youi can spend the next 6 months reading about tuners while your saving your coins.
I do like this option rooti?
Xeid's cool motor with a air cleaner big sucker?
And find some pipes that sound good to me...
Is this the newbie way to go!
I can also return to stock anytime myself...
