Help. I have had multiple challenges with the operation of my CB.
1. When I keyed down on the TX switch, it "over-modulated" so badly the other riders had to tear off their helmets it hurt so bad.
2. The dealer diagnosed the problem to be a bad ground in the tour pack. Supposedly that was fixed. The next ride, the CB exhibited the same scenario.
3. The dealership diagnosed the problem to be a bad CB unit and replaced it. The TX worked for one day but now doesn't transmit at all. When I key down, the "CB" icon highlights as though it is transmitting but the other riders say I'm dark.
I have a HK radio and Hogtunes amplification system. THe Hogtunes is switched so it is only used while playing through the external speakers. I also have a pair of "shorty" antenna's.
