Boom iPod adapter help
I installed the factory H-D iPod adapter tonight, and it will only play through the clutch side speaker. All the other radio functions play as it should through both speakers. Does anyone have any ideas? All the connections look good.

I would check them all again, make sure non of the male connectors are not bent. Also did you put on allot of dielectric grease? Could be a little too much, I have done that a few times, just clean some of it out. Hope this helps.

Unless you have a bad module, your problem is likely the wire inserted in chamber 8 in the 35 position connector in the back of the radio--that's the left channel for the iPod.
I'd suggest getting the HD servi e manual but won't help if your bike is older than when Introduced the module.

I would argue that it is the connector as well. Make sure that you completely disassemble the wire adapters, insert the pins until they seat or lock. I had issues with mine and swore that the pins were properly seated. Alas, they were not.
