I've got an '08 Road King with reciever style hitch from HitchDoc. Nice chrome support arms, sturdy unit. Looks good when ball is off. Just a chrome piece under bumper. Most can't tell it even has a hitch. Got the swivel tongue attatchment. Really works good. No issues leaning in corners. 1 good investment is wiring kit with isolator setup. Keeps trailer lights from blowing fuse if you get a short in the trailer. Also used LED lights to cut down on load on battery. Just some options to think about.

I installed a hitch from MCHITCH and am very happy with it. I don't use a swivel ball. I previously had a swivel in the tongue of the trailer but see no adverse effects from not having it now.
I purchase a piggy backer trailer years ago that I pulled with a Honda VTX. I must say the Harley handles it better.
Good luck with your choice.

I've use the Kury set-up, but more recently the Rivco. Both worked fine. But I liked the Rivco better, it is more hidden when not in use.

The swivel on the tongue of the trailer is definitely a plus. You may never need it, but if you do, you will be happy you have it.

Strongly recommend using an isolater in the wiring, that way if there is ever a problem in the trailer wiring it will not affect the bike wiring.

I've got the Bushtec receiver on my RGU. I've added the SG/RGC rear fascia, so it helps hide the brackets outside the fender.

(No, I don't run with a straight header, just had the mufflers off for easier access.)

+1 on the Rivco + swivel + isolater

Great system, plus if you do PGR missions or need parade flags for something, Rivco sells a system that mounts flags you your rig that looks good rather than some of the goofy crap you see out there.

Better to have a Swivel Hitch and not need it than to need one and not have one.

BushTec on my SG, I think it looks clean. You can drop the reciever and really don't know you have a hitch on at all. I do not have a swivel yet, hope I don't regret it prior to getting one. Slow down before the turn, accelerate through it. The trailer will push if your slowing into a turn.

Second Hitch Doc for me with 100K between the two. I noticed after about 40K that the fork that hooks under the ball was starting to bend. After installing the swivel, no problem.

Has anyone tried this hitch from Open Road Outitters? Had the Kustom Chrome on my 99 Heritage, which worked well, but this looks very strong, and is hidden when you aren't using it. http://www.openroadoutfitters.com/in...d0h6atjd5trca1
