Anyone experience any vibration issues on 2012 Street glides. I know, it's a Harley and it's suppose to vibrate, but I have gone thru 3 after market air horns because it has shaken them all apart, motor mounts have needed to be tightened twice and my exaust has recently come loose for the second time. Any input would be appreciated, while it's still under warrenty. Of course if I go back to HD and tell them my Harley vibrates, they will probably throw me out anyway. Thanks
That does sound like an excessive vibration. I have 2012 and it does vibrate but not to that extent. Does it seem like it's running rough? Where are the RPM's at when it's just sitting there at an idle? Does it seem worse at different RPM's ranges?
With the bike under warranty, I suggest you go to the dealer. If they say it's normal after you repeat the account you gave, go to another dealer. Something isn't right.
sounds normal to me but ask the dealer to check the motor mounts. also, ask them to start a bike like yours and compare how much it vibrates. these touring motors arent counter balanced so they're a little rough at idle

I don't understand why HD doesn't put the counterbalanced motor in the touring bikes?
My 2006 TC 88 (Softail) is much smoother at idle that the new RK. Not complaining, afterall, it is a Harley. Just would think the smoother motor would be in the touring bikes???
Sounds excessive to me. My 2012 doesnt seem to vibrate enough to bother me. Go to the dealer and take a test ride on a 13 and see how it feels in comparison.
