Black exhaust????
OK I got some black powder coat done. I have a standard with blond/aluminum engine. I was thinking on leaving the Aluminum covers? I'm thinking to get rid of most the chrome (leave fender trim, console, taillight) but am really unsure about the exhaust? I think it does look out of place but will it be too much black? All the
other black is gloss and the pipes will need to be flat?? Also have lowers to go back on.

In my experience with V&H, the black started to discolor after a few thousand miles around the headers.
Still looked great, but noticeable.
Personally, I think your bike would look great with a set.

Got the mufflers and shields Ceramic coated. Think it turned out great! Jury is out on the black covers on blond motor???
