Go to this page, input year/model and then select 'CRANKCASE & ENGINE OIL FILTER' in parts drop down. You can see it in the schematic as #1 on '99-2010 models. The 2012 models have it as #2.

It's more like a place to check to see if the crank case is dry. There should be a small amount of oil in there, but I think it's only like 6oz or so. Any more or less, and you have a problem...
Tucci, are you sure the scavenger is supposed to use that plug? I thought they hook up to the allen head plug in the front side of the oil pan? It's more to the center of the pan, just beyond the regular magnetic drain plug.
