The lowered look is cool, unfortunately not so functional. I would install a lift kit on mine if I could. 90 percent of my riding is winding back roads. I tried the lowered thing for a short time, and like yourself, found myself scraping on nearly every turn. At stock height (on an ultra) I can still get deep in the twisties and scrape occasionally. Street glides are lower from the start, so adding a lowering kit makes them really low. Take those mickey mouse brackets off your rear shocks first and see if your ride isn't better and it will surely improve your lean angle as well......
Mine is lowered 2 in the front and 1 in the rear....no
"mickey mouse" floor board extensions though.....never scraped. And, why would taking the brackets off the rear shocks make the ride better???
I would start with the extensions and go from there. Left side is most likely the heat shield oncrossover pipe . At least that's what scapes first on mine.

Because the brackets change the angle of the shock in such a way that makes the dampening noticeably harsher.

Actually the LA Choppers kit just drops the lower rear shock bolt straight down 1" (same angle..no change) and outwards toward the saddlebag about 1/2 to allow for the metal thickness of the kit bracket. No relocating shock backwards...just down. Hands down the best lowering kit out there because you dont alter the shocks configuration and still keep the same stock shock with its full dampening and rebound.
Logged 100 miles on her today with one small scrape over a frostheave in a parking lot but other then that I can't complain. First thing i did before our ride today was a routine tire and shock air pressure check which should have been done yesterday. Found Both tires down 15+psi and no air in rear shocks. Filled to proper air pressure in all and then off I went. As I said above, no scaping other then the parking lot frostheave. If the scraping persists ill got to easiest path and remove fb extensions...then proceed from there. Thanks for all your comments...awesome to get help from those willing! I appreciate it. And if anyone wants to know how Andrews 57H's perform...I am amazed at the performance I'm getting right now. Amazing is an understatement! Thank again y'all !!! Have a safe and great season of ridin!
Shift your weight more and you can make the same turn with less lean. That said, it sounds like you went overboard in lowering the bike. I know a few who have put 13" shocks on Street Glides because they were too low to start with. It looks cool but compromises the original design of the bike.
