Default Need help idenifying part
I was changing my oil and found this next to the Oil cap. I have a parts manual, but have no idea where to look.

That looks like one of the side cover rubbers. Theres 3 on each side, pull that cove and bet you only have 2 on there,

It's a 2011 FLHX. I think you may be right on the side cover......Can't pull it right now but will in the morning.

Default kick stand
looks more like the rubber stop that goes on kick stand down near the end that hit ground when the kick stand is up is is the soft stop so the kickstand doesnt hit any metal on the side of the bike. could be wrong but thats what it looks like to me. ihad to buy one last summer was there at start of day later on while on a long drive hitting dealers it was gone.

A picture of the other side of the part would help. it looks like the side cover grommet deal. mine have fallen out before... these things have a tendency to shake apart!

You guys were right on the money.........plug for side cover. Weird part is it was from the lower front one on the left side....how it ended laying by the oil filler cap is beyond belief. Was a real bit.. to put back in, lubed it with sylicone spray and had to use a 1/2 in drive extension and a hammer to get it in.
