How to stop muffler "farts"

New clamps did it for me. I thought the same thing, why do I need a new clamp?? Well just trust me, a new clamp fixed my problems. I had leaks at every joint because I was squeezing the pipes out of round with the old clamp.
All I can tell you is, if you have a leak after reusing a clamp, replace it and I bet problem solved.
Would be a good idea to use the sealer too as you could have permanently bent one of them out of round by tightening the chit out of it.

Because they stretch when installed the first time, they will be loose if used repeatedly. I used a film of orange hi temp silicone and it worked.
