Can anyone tell me why my right side floor board sits lower than my left. The left side is level but the right side rides lower. Is there a stopper or a wedge that keeps them level?
As far as what to look for, but no one can tell you what it is without looking at the bike in question. If you don't have a lift, get down on your hands and knees and look at the mounts. Are they aligned at the same level on frame? There is an adjustment for that ya know? Are the brackets, or the foot boards warn where they make contact? Did a fat *** step on the right side foot board and bend it?
Only you have what is necessary to tell exactly why they are not right...
And that is, the bike sitting in front of you to inspect for the cause.
On my bike there are three optional mounting points for the front board mounting. Check as Def Mute suggested, to see if yours are both mounted in the same hole. The holes are joined together, so you just have to back off the screw a few turns, slide to the chosen hole and tighten up. Simples!
