I have a United 7x14 V-Nose tandem axle with electric breaks. Condor wheel chocks, e-track downs both sides and center. Drop down rear gate all the goodies. I like it very much and will keep it. In hindsight I would do it all again BUT would go wider than 7'. 8' would be better or as noted before a 7'5 or 7'6" option. Good luck. Got about $5 K into it.
Great post, lots of good information. I like the idea of hauling the bike and camping out of the trailer when you get there. Lots of ideas.
Good idea about using the trailer to camp out of but I know with mine, there's no way to secure the side door once your inside and even if you could, some asshat could secure the side door and rear ramp door from the outside and your never get out!!!!!! Yeah, I think about stuff like that......

Me too! That stuff happens.
I'd do an emergency trap door in the floor. No one would know it's even there.
Then you could get out, kill the guy, crawl back in!
