Default Starting trouble

I just got my bike all set up for the nice weather, it fired up first time no problem, after a few starts it was having trouble firing and I thought it may be the 5 year old battery so I bought a new one put it in and I am have trouble starting the bike
when i turn it over sometimes it will catch and turn other times it sort of humms then clicks a few times then catches , starter or solenoid.
I know its going to get worse before it gets better
Thanks
Ron

check your ground to the frame..when I say check it I mean take it off and clean it and reinstall it...also check where the wires go onto the starter....

Check the wiring on your fuel injectors under the tank. I had the same issue and the wire was chafed. Disregard wrong thread
