Is the seal that faces out on the ABS bearing green or Orange? May be they put the bearing in the opposite of what it should be?

Did either of the wheel/tire overall circumferences change? If so, that's your problem. The ABS controller will set a code if it sees a change in wheel speed outside of the acceptable parameters. New wheel/tires would do just that if the rotational speeds ratio difference from front to back is different from stock.

I don't know what you have done regarding wheels & tires, but for example, if you have a larger front wheel/tire circumference, the wheel will rotate slower and the speed is read by the wheel speed sensor. I may be wrong because of your bike being an '08 but that's how my '07 tone ring ABS works. Just by replacing the rear with a 1/2" shorter tire and replacing the front with a 1" taller tire I got a constant flashing ABS light. I will be interested to see what you find after reading the ABS fault codes. Good Luck!
