When my shoulders start to ache I sure wish there was such a thing as electric handle bars/cables that could adjust up or down on the fly because those apes look like just the ticket when I need to stretch.

I like them wide and just over the faring, but some of the taller ones are growing on me.

I won't say that they look stupid.

I will say that they only look good on RK's though.

I think that they are specifically reserved for RK's.

I have to agree it does look odd having apes on a dresser. For me I had to have it...it was function over looks.

Using the stock handlebars and the tallboy seat the handlebars would hit my leg during turns. The only way to get around that was to install taller handlebars or stick my leg out. I got tired of the latter and my hand falling asleep so I replaced them.

I agree, bikes with fairings look stupid with apes! But my boat may not float in your pond either???
