I'd prefer not to go to apes - kinda defeats the purpose of a batwing - but I'd rather be comfortable. Cool is great if you're sitting still

but comfort has its limits too

It's not for me; looks uncomfortable, but customizing the bike is the owner's prerogative. It took me three sets of bars and two different risers to get mine 'just right.'

Personal choice. But when riding in cold weather, why would I want to raise my hands from behind the protection of the fairing up into the freezing wind blast?

Some people like 'em, but they are not for me.
I like to wear sunglasses when I ride.
Maybe others like to shade the sun out of their eyes with their knuckles up in the air.
