If it's got nipples on the end of the spokes then they are spokes and not billet that has been carved out. I've seen billet rims that look like spokes, but can't remember who made them. I'll look around and see if I can remember who made them.
Hear horror stories from friends about loosing air, flat tires in the rear and not knowing until your 50 miles away from home, and having to (maintain) straighten spokes. I figured billet would be the way to go...just didn't know if they existed since a google search didn't turn up anything.

I have never had any issues with my spokes, of any kind.
My thoughts are about plug and go repairs if anything happened out on the road. I have used them many times on other vehicles, and would use them on a MC tire without hesitation. Beats waiting on a haul to get a tube fix...
