My 05 electra Glide Classic is at the dealer having a few mods done. They are having a sale on exhaust systems. I heard the Reinhart True Duals in the showromm and they sound great. I know being inside made them sound louder but was wondering how they sound out on the road at 65-70 mph. Are they real loud or will I be able to still enjoy my stereo? I just don't want them to be too loud.
There not too bad on a 88' motor, but on my 95' with high compression waaaaay too loud. I've ordered a fat cat with quiet baffle to cure my torque loss in the lower rpm and hopefully tone the beast down a little!
I bought reinhart true duels for my 05 ultra [w/95" kit] and even with my hog tune speakers found them a bit loud around town. Love loud pipes, but love the tunes also. Highway no problem. I wound up buying quiet baffles from dennis kirk for about 90 bucks. It's a good fit for me.
We hear our tunes around town and on the hiway no problem with our Rineharts...love the sound of the pipes and the tunes, wouldn't trade em for anything else
