Hi, I need a new seat for a long trip coming up because the stock seat on my 08 SG isn't cutting it. I'm 6'3" 225 and my wife is 5'8" 120. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
You might concider giving Alan at Mean CITY Cycle a call and ask him what he can do for you . He can modify your stock seat to fit you and your needs .
I had him do some mods on mine and its super comfey now .
My cost for the mods he did was just inder $150 including shipping both ways , way cheaper than a new seat.
I ride 500+ days NP.
I have a ZEPPELIN and I really like it. It rides the first 300 miles with out airing it up. It is a big seat and costs a bunch. Mine came on my bike or I would probably never have ridden one. My wife likes it too. She is 6'2" and a little more weight than yours. I bought a second ZEPPELIN on here for $400 and some change and sold my older one to a buddy. He left my house in SE VA at 1:00 PM and was in Niceville FL at 2:30 AM (925 mi) the next morning non stop. His original plans were to stop in SC overnight.
I bought a Sundowner Deep Bucket last week and then after installing left on a 5 day ride. The seat was great, I was comfortable all day, day after day. Very satisfied.
