I just added the xm module to mine. got it and the harness off ebay for $350. Hooked it all up and the xm was already working. works great. I got the ipod adapter from IronCrossAudio last year with the cable extension that puts the ipod in the saddlebag. it works great also.

I used a handlebar mounted XM radio for years and finally got the boom unit and have to say It's worth every penny. I have never had any trouble getting a solid signal and having it I grated just can't be beat. If you ever sell the bike it would only take a few to take it out and put it on the new bike. A great investment IMO.

Put the XM Radio module on my Street Glide almost a year ago. Local dealer was having a 20% off sale and the XM qualified. Great addition, use it every ride. Integration/controls are seamless. I think it's a really useful option.

Yep....came as a factory install on the bike. It's okay on the open road but up around the mountains it cuts out a bit. I don't really want to pull the antenna from under the fairing and put it outside...so I just flip to the ipod in those areas.

you can order it from the discount dealers and save 20% plus sales tax. still not cheap, but a nice addition to any bike.
