I tried a bunch of thing without much luck. I read on one of the forums Spray 9 and a Mr. clean Magic Eraser. It truly is magic. That working unbelievably good. Spray on the spay 9 while washing the bike, let it sit then use the magic eraser. The www came like new without any effort. Give it a try.

You can just start with white walls, never clean em and end up with tires like the rest of the world. Why clean...join us in all black!

Dollar General sells a product called AWESOME Cleaner that cost $1.00 a bottle. Spray on AWESOME Cleaner and let sit for a minute or two, go over with greenie scrub pad and rinse away with either a damp rag or water. Inexpensive with very little effort, but works.

64oz. refill can be purchase for $3.00...http://www.dollargeneral.com/product...uctId=11786549

I use CRC Quick Drying Contact Cleaner in an aerosol can. Spray it on a rag, wipe the WW's clean and you are done, no scrubbing needed at all. All of my riding buddies use it and it does not harm the rubber or anything. It is made gentle for sensitive electronic parts. We have been using it for years.

Forgot about SOS pads, think I used BRILLO back in the day on my car tires!

edit = (just did a search and Brillo is 4 years older born in 1913 then SOS and both were designed for scouring pans.... just a bit of useless trivia there)

Jack it up and use a stool. You can spin those tires easily while washing and rinsing. I use a good old fashioned brillo pad (one works nice to clean both). They foam up nice and the steet wool removes grease spots and stuff easy. Scrubbing just the white wall makes them sparkling clean.
