I ordered the HDPDPlus2 this weekend. Should be here tomorrow. I also ordered the extended cable. I'm going to try and run it to the tour pack through the antenna cable hole. We'll see what happens.
I had the HDPDPLUS on my 09 Street Glide, worked great. I went to move it to my 2012 Ultra Limited and the connector on the back of the stereo is a 35? pin connector. Has anyone wired this to a newer bike? My old instructions show the 23 pin connector.

It's the same radio. You're looking at the wrong connector. You plug into the 35 pin and splice into 2 wires on the 23 pin connector.
Look at page 4 item 6 for the explanation for your Ultra. http://www.ironcrossaudio.com/HDPDPLUSInstall.pdf On a Street Glide the 35 pin connector is open. On an Ultra, you need to unplug the connector and plug it back in to the HDPDPLUS connector.

Sorry, my dumba$$ was looking at the wrong connection. I got it all wired up and it works great. Any suggestions on where to put the black box used for ultras. I can't get my fairing back on now.
Thanks
I put mine on this weekend. I had to stuff the cable bundle in tight and zip tie it to make room for the fairing.
I ran the cable extension down the wire trough and followed the right side antenna cable in to the tour pack. I used the existing gromet, but it had to ream it out to fit the extra cable. I drilled a 3/4" hole in the tour pack liner and used the gromet that came with the HDPDPlus 2 extension cable. Make sure you have plenty of extra zip ties.
