yife asked me testerday morning if I was going to hit the local Mopar Show. Yeas I will! Always a good turn out of some reallyu nice iron there. Got me to thinking, IF I had planned ahead and cleaned up the 09 FLHTP I would have entered it. Spent minutes wipping the bugs off of the paint, and the worst off of the chrome, bundled up, it was 47* when I left, and rode over to the show 30 miles away.
Entered the Bourbon-Glide anyway just to show her off, bugs and all!
Spent the day talking with a bunch of good friends, looking at some old iron, 59 Imperial 2d that was really slick, and a 61 Fury that was to die for, 440 w/2 4's on a cross ram, 3 winged cars, a 69 Daytona and two 70 Superbirds.
Sun came out about noon, really turned off nice and I brought home 1st place trophy for the bike division!
Could not have asked for a better day!
Photobucket is nor working, will post photo tomorrow.
Probably need to scrub off the rest of the bugs and enter her in the Maquette Mueseum show in two weeks!
