Default Noisy synthetic

Since I have been unable to reply to the "lifter nose" thread since last night I figured I would try a new.

Wild Card posted "SON" (me) should do my homework on the reason syn is noisier. Wouldn't you know it the first site I went to was Mobil's. Wild Card should do a bit of research himself although he probably knows molecules better than anyone. Take a look SON and see what Mobil says about this. Also, you can find as many credible yea's and nay's on whether syn in noisier.

Maybe Wild Card should not be such a condescending dou&^ and look around himself. Oh I'm prepared for the scientific molecular explanation again.. Thanks Dr. WIld Card.

Some people think know everything, in some cases that may be true. But no sense in talking down to others.

Think I'll add to the fire. Back in 2009 when I got my new Ultra, I was running Amsoil 20/50 after 1st maintenance for 2500 miles and could not get my lifters to quiet down, in fact my dealer installed new lifters along with syn3 to stop the noise, after 1000 miles I dropped the syn3 and installed Mobil1 V-Twin 20/50 after reading all the negative reports about syn3 on here, and now after 475000 more miles my Ultra is still quiet with only Mobil1 being used.
I have no idea why my Ultra didn't like Amsoil but I'm very satisfied with Mobil

47500 since switch to Mobil1 only 51,400 on bike!

There are so many story's RE: syn oil or non syn oils.
The bottom line is if your in a very hot climate most of the year and you do much high revolutions of your motor then syn oil is best because it DOES NOT break down as quick as non-syn oil. That being said ......the final choice is the owners. I use a syn because of the mentioned reason.

Ive experimented with both oils to determine which one quiets down valve train noise and although at first the dino oil made a small diff, after the miles started clicking it ( noise) was back so then your left with which oil protects best in desert climates and there really no debate on which one stays more stable. I havent tried a partial syn oil and thinking about Brad Penn oil but dont want to start another oil thread! The only solution that makes sence is concentrating on the lifters.....I dont know how to do it but Im studying and picking up that skill. Someone whose real good doing a DYI thread would be awesome.

My wording here....:::

Oil out of the ground are Like People.. Little ones Big ones Thick ones...All different sizes...

Synthetic oils are Man Made...All the same sized molecules.

When used in a motor they don't have the thick and thin molecules that actually Quiet the motor down..

Mineral Oils do retain heat more than the One sized, thin small = sized Molecules of synthetic.

That said = If you want a quieter oil Use Mineral Oil...

Better protection and longer lasting = use Synthetic.

That is the way I see it.
