Like others here have stated, the wind is coming from some where else. Get the wings that attatch to the lower part of the fairing. Helps a lot. I am 5' 10" and run a LRS 8" ultra with the wings. Very little buffeting. In fact it is perfect. Just enough wind to know you are on a bike and the glasses stay pretty still at 80 mph. If you get the ones that are not adjustable, they run around $35. Worth a try any way. Cheaper than another shield.

Already have the (adjustable) fairing wings. I guess next step is fork deflectors. And possibly a 8" poly carb light tint....from who I don't know yet.
Stock 4" shield for me...no wind and no buffetting. Just kidding...i use a 9" Fast-Aire and love it. Looks good too. A Flat-Top LRS is a nice shield too btw.
I bought a Fast Aire 'Aero' windshield for my '07 Street Glide. I checked LRS, Cee Baileys and Klock Werks. I chose Fast Aire because they offered the most height options, including a 7" shield.
So, does anyone have a good condition stock 12 inch Electra Glide shield that they'd sell at reasonable price, my 2010 Limited's has a crack in it . Send me PM
