believe bagman is right,,,,if you've got led lights, you have to have a module to make em work......not needed with regular bulbs i'm a thinkin....had a problem like that on mine back a couple years ago come to think of it...had to change out the module.....
I know it needs the load Equalizer but no idea about the m odule thing. Bike had a led tail light when i bought it, and when i swapped the rear fender i put the new EQ from bad dad on. All was good for about 2 weeks...Man i hope this is the problem!!
Ok lil update i found the exact same part from kuryakin on ebay for $75. Same exact thing, since im plugging this in and the front signal turns bright as the sun can i assume this is for sure the problem before i buy?
There is only 1 good brand I was told to use, I cant remember the name, when I get home from work Ill look it up. I think it came in a orange and yellow labeled bag. The dealer sells them. Theyre about 100-125. But if you had it on your battery that may have cooked it by the heat and the looks of it being smashed.
Just reread your post about the black and red marked plugs. You may have a melted pin hole and thats why its shorting out. Take a look you just may need to get a new plug and the correct pins. Thinking out loud here.
No man i used the paint app on the pc to mark which plug ins i was talking about is what i meant to say. I just took some scissors and cut the red plastic sleeving from the module and it has that electrical burnt smell! So that kinda tells me i found the culprit..yea?

Sounds like you found the culprit, hate that you tore the bike apart, that's why I hate electrical work, don't get me wrong I'm good at it, I was an Avionics and Electronics expert on F-15/16 fighters while in the Air Force. Let us know how this turns out Marvo75.
YEP tore the damn wires out of the bars and it wasnt even the problem!! It was the kuryakin run turn brake module...My bad dad tail light had the mod built in so i didnt even need it. Luckly i called em and man so glad i did cause i was on my way to the stealership to grab a module. Bikes on the road today, all is fine, thanks to all who helped!
