I'm betting it's in the left side of the bars, time to start chasing wires on that side.....d1a9, it's probably diag and you are either misreading it, or the wiring is causing a misread, either way, start on the left side bar harness.

Ok right now i pulled all wires from left side, no bad spots...SAD LOL as of right now i have bars off all fuses are good, no popping anymore when i turn key on, front left signal is still way bright and if you leave it on it pops bulb in 20 seconds. Dash still shows left signal on even if i take the left signal off. Right signal works front and back. So as of right now im sitting with bike in pieces, same problem and it wasnt the wires in the bars!? I checked the switch on bars all looks good, even took it all apart and cleaned it. No bad wires. I've been thru bike front to back cant find anything bad, no wires exposed. HELP?!

There's a hot wire touching something that it shouldn't touch. The overly bright signal may mean it's getting 2 sources of power. It pops in 20 seconds of receiving 24 volts to a 12 volt bulb. With the signal 'off' dash light shows it's on - or another power source to it. Pull all left side wiring & start again. It not necessarily exposed, but pinched enough to cut the insulation.
