First thing I did was remove the heel shifter. Hate those things. Leaves no room to move my feet around.

Every bike I've ever owned came with one. Never used it. Bought the Street Glide and the cap from Harley, but never bothered to take it off. The shifter is still on there as I actually use it to nestle the back of my boot into... at least I know I'm not scuffing anything on the bike.

I use mine. Feels natural now. Rode my dad's Lowrider, and it felt wierd to upshift with my toe.

I had to make myself use it to start with, but once I did, I can't do without it.

I use mine every day. I'm a Marine and we have to wear tan rough side out leather boots that can get scuffed pretty easy. Don't have to worry about that now. It's also easier for me to find neutral then it was when I had a fatbob with no heel shift.
