Default Antenna tip
Just noticed the other day the rubber tip was gone on one of my antennas? Any ideas where to get a replacement I asked the local dealer, who was no help.

just buy another antenna, you can goto any advance atuo/autozone etc.... and get a short antenna and screw it in to the base. They aren't costly unless you goto the the dealership.

Just don't do what another member did and cover it with your eyeball.

I am going to a shorter set but until then I found caps for the tip at the local radio controlled toy shop for under a buck. Quick cheap and less painful than eyeball. LOL

Maybe a vacuum line plug/cap .... Auto Parts store has a wide variety of sizes.

Plastidip, you can get it at Home Depot. I use them on our two way radios at work and it holds better than the original little antenna caps, moulds right to the antenna.

What he said ... you can get them at Lowes or Home Depot for about a buck.

I installed this one. Looks great and didn't notice any loss of signal.

You can buy a rubber tip at Ace Hardware for a few cents. Works as good as new!
