The 222 is to me more usable power...I have 26's but i will swap them out for 48's next time i open her up...maybe around 125000 miles or so...might frshen up the top end with new rings or new jugs, hell who knows, maybe a 107 kit. No replacement for displacement
Glad you came through OK and i am sure the satisfaction of doing it yourself add to the Bravado...

Thank you sir, it does feel good to do it yourself. I let my dad ride the bike the other day and he was so impressed he ordered a set. We just finished putting a set of the 222's in his 2011 ultra with a 96.

I used ATrain's write up and Iclick's, and the Beatty install tool. I also elected to keep the stock push rods. A little more work, but not much, and I don't have any push rod worries. I did this two years ago and it's still running strong!
You can use the stock pushrods if the base-circle of the cams are like stock or very close, as in the case of the SE255 we installed, often termed "bolt-in cams." I think the TW222 and most others require adjustable pushrods.
That's what they show in the book as labor time.
It takes about that long if you replace the inner cam bearings and all.
Everything should be torqued to specs too.
No need to rush the job.
