5,400 miles in 11 days from MD to Utah and back last year. Did it on the Beemer though, so that may not count.

Sounds like a fun ride. Just got back last month from about 6,000 miles in all. Gone about 3 weeks. Left here in Layton and went to 4 Corners and stood on all 4 states, then went to Albuquerque and toured Old Towne, then to Roswell and had lunch with the aliens, then down to Carlsbad Caverns, then to San Antonio and toured The Alamo, then to New Orleans, then to Georgia, then Disney World in Orlando. Came back a slightly different way but mostly the same. I ran 450-750 miles a day and then stopped for a day or half day here and there. It was just a nice ride.

Me and wife as passenger did 6408 last summer in 13 days, her first trip and never one complaint. From VA out and up to Glacier National Park in Northern Montana, then back down and through Yellowstone among lots of other places along the way out and back.

And we just got back from 5867 miles that we did from VA through TN and rode through Shawnee, OK about 45 minutes before the Tornado hit there on 6/19 and then rode as much as RT 66 as we could as far and Laughlin, NV then back down through Lake Havasu, AZ, Tucson, Tombstone, Bixby, and then back into NM, and then Austin, TX, New Orleans, and back up through MS, AL, GA, SC, NC, and back home. Only had rain for about 1 hr the 2nd day through TN. other than that dry as a bone.

This one makes my 7th cross country ride and her second and yes it is addicting, but no better way to see the country.

6300miles, 20 days, San Antonio to Sturgis, then Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Flagstaff and back to SA... a lot of stops along the way... You will not regret the trip.. Nothing like seeing the USA over the handlebars..

Every September I take off for a 10 to 14 day trip and cover 4 to 5 K miles. Never know where I'm going until I get there. One of my most diverse trips geograpically: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/gener...liability.html

By signature, it looks like you have a touring bike? Find a nice bag and place it on the passenger seat and strap it fast. Smaller and lighter than having a passenger sitting back there and you know where you tools will be when you get to where you need to be!

My 370 miles in two days from home to Bossier City and back looks pretty sucky. But it's MY best. It rained the second day for two hours! Any points for that?

I had 2 at 3200 miles each. St Louis to Key West, we took the slow route avoiding Interstates. Then in 2010 went from St. Louis, rode the Blue Ridge Parkway then up to York PA to tour the HD plant. Then went to Buffalo NY and had wings at the Anchor Inn then back to St. Louis. Planning a couple of shorter, less than 2000 miles each, trips.. Just don't know where yet.. I figured we'd wake up, check the weather and ride where it wasn't raining.
