My 370 miles in two days from home to Bossier City and back looks pretty sucky. But it's MY best. It rained the second day for two hours! Any points for that?
You get points for riding anywhere at any distance!
Leaving in a week for 17 days on the road........Should be near 6K miles. We normally take a two week trip each year which usually averages 4-6K miles per trip. Best vacations ever.......The best part is the wife enjoys it.
5,400 miles in 11 days from MD to Utah and back last year. Did it on the Beemer though, so that may not count.
I look at this way. As long as you are on two wheels then it counts.

Nah I really don't want to have to haul my tools around at Sturgis and etc. I was thinking about a bag to set there for the sleeping bag, jacket and a few other things.
It does sound like most people love to go out for a long ride. I am really leaning this way because riding home spend a day or two there and get on a plane just sucks.
I did 3,040 miles in three days in April. Went from OK to the Blue Ridge Parkway, then up to Virginia and back home through West Virginia and Kentucky. I enjoyed the hell out of it! Basiclly went for a day trip through the mountains, only the mountains were 1,000 miles away. I work 12 hour shifts standing all day (or night) so it wasn't bad. $700 road zep helped a lot too. As long as you enjoy it, however long or short it doesn't matter!
Just finished my longest. Eau Claire, WI to Albuquerque, NM. 7 days of riding and I was just over 3000 miles. I just stopped where ever I was and grabbed a hotel. It was fun.
Ya'll make me jealous and feel like a wuss. I have only done one worthy of posting. We rode about 1200 miles in 3 days on the Heritage up to the dragon last year. It was fun and what convinced me to get a touring bike. We did ride 200 miles last Sat riding up to Montgomery to the river.
We are hoping to do more now that we have the Limited. The problem is it is difficult for her getting more than a 3-4 day weekend off (RN supervisor). So we just plan on short trips. One of these days, maybe she can take 2 wks and we can head west, it's on my bucket list.
From: 12 year, Colombia, 4 years Mexico, currently In Kuwait, but Boston is HOME!!
just recently did Torreon to Mazatlan 300 one way for a bike week. Great trip but tricky through the mountains makes the the dragon look like like nothing, other than that, as far as long trips go; Boston to New orleans on a two an a half week ride there and back. Over the summers I do nothing but ride cuase that is the only time I really used to be able to ride but now that I have my bikes here in Mexico with me, I ride at least two hundred a weekend.
Leaving next Saturday for 5 days out to the Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore. We will stop by Devils Tower and Sturgis, then come back through Nebraska and Colorado.
Longest trip was 4 days to Cody and Bear Tooth pass, then on to Missoula and over Lolo pass to Challis Id.then home 2k in 4 days.
