I have bought a few items including the CC from Capt. Itch. Very well made items and the leather belts are the most durable belts I've ever owned. Thick leather and like everything else Larry and Isabel sell, High Quality with great service and the pricing is very reasonable. My only regret is that I didn't get the Crotch Cooler sooner. It really makes a huge difference in the amount of heat you feel and where you feel it.

Thank you all very much for your nice words about us. It is true, we are working hard to make a nice affordable product, and treat people the way, we would like to be treated. That all brought us here in the first place.

We were making holsters and were looking for cup holders for our bikes. We didn't want anything plastic, or something that was cheaply made and would break soon. So we made our own leather cup holders. Friends saw it, and wanted them too. Then friends of friends...you get the picture. So we had to find out, how to get the same cup holder on different bikes with different setups. Now we make them for the windshield, handlebar, saddlebags, etc.

Then we tried to do something about the heat issue and made our first crotch cooler. To answer the question about the rear cylinder...Larry's CC is on his bike for over 50000 miles, and you can't see any wear and tear either on the leather or the frame. We take his Police Road King to the shows where we setup, and ask people to look under the cc and see it for themselves. Larry never had an issue with the motor.

Back to the story....our motorcycle leather items took off, and it was time to dedicate a website for these items, and the name Captain Itch was born. So I took a picture of Larry, blew it up a little to give it more "character", and here we are. We ended up with our motorcycle leather business like we say in Germany "a virgin gets a baby. By accident". None of it was planned. It was "can you make....?", and we did.

Now we are at the point where we cannot make everything custom any more, because we have to keep up with our internet orders. I always ask where our customers found us, and I noticed that more and more Harley dealerships refer their customers to our website. So I thought they were from around Tennessee or Kentucky or somewhere close. But no, the referrals come from California, Montana, all over the country. AWESOME!!! This shows that the word of mouth is out there, thanks to all of our customers, thank to you folks. We don't have the big bucks for glossy magazine ads without having to raise our prices. So your support is what our business it based on.

So thank you all again, ride safe, and have a wonderful Father's Day!

Larry and Isabel

just started getting hot here in Missouri last week, went and got mine out and put it on, Simply put, i wont ride in the summer heat without the CC on my Dyna, the heat coming off the rear header is just killer on my leg without it.

Here is a picture with it on, from a couple yrs ago.

Yup, and that's a major reason the forum is so valuable. In addition to my own research, the opinions here really factor in to what I buy.

Keep all those good & bad reviews on products coming!!
