Angry tar snakes

here in n.m. they use liquid tar to fill in all those cracks in the road,, dont they relize when that **** gets hot on a hot day that that can be dangerious for bike riders,, hit one today in a turn at around 65mph and thought i was going to lose the bike,, that stuff is slick when hot

sucks in the cold icy weather as well.

Yep i was in a curve at 55mph and thought i was gonna go down. Scared the crap out of me. I have a 21" front metzler and it is narrow. If i had the oem tire may be okay??????????

Everytime I hit them it gets real squirrely. That being said, I have never heard of anyone ever going down because of them.

Yea but almost as bad is crapping your pants and having to ride home in them:-) some roads in CT have so many snakes it would be cheaper to repave.

I hear ya. We had 6 sharks out for a ride last weekend and the damn backroad had so many of them it was a real challenge.

was at a red light and didn't reallize there was one under my rear wheel, light changed and
and when started out the bike slid like it was on ice , it took a few seconds to get the bike under control, it gave me a scare.

Damn, how hot did it get up there today? Down here in Texas where it gets really hot, I barely notice the tar snakes. I do watch out for the road alligators though!
