mp-3 player
Hi All, I am looking to put a mp-3 player on my bike. I don't know much about this so can use some help. What is a decent one to buy? Need capacity for 2000 songs. Was thinking of wiring it up to the accessory switch on my streetglide.and putting the unit in the fairing pouch.I would always keep it on shuffle so I don.t need to see it.What unit is good[Low price too] and what cables would I need for the power and to connect to the radio. Thanks for any help

I'm too cheap to buy an Ipod or anything expensive like that.
Plus, who needs a LCD screen to look at tiny pics or whatever..just a waste
of batteries if you ask me.
I got one of these at Amazon, added a 32GB SD card for a total of $53 including shipping.
I figure most of these will eventually die, and I don't think the batteries are replaceable,
so why invest over $100 in something that you will eventually be tossing in the trash.
This one works fine for my needs..and I read a lot of reviews before buying.
Sansa Clip+, it's about the size of matchbook, very tiny, but easy to use.
Just make sure you get one with a SD slot, no need to buy one with a ton of memory that you will also be throwing in the trash in a couple of years.
SD cards can be used on most of them these days, and makes buying a cheaper model and expanding it, a much better deal.
I liked it so much, I got one for a friend, and my daughter in law too.
have fun

Ipod 120 GB.
It has 5900 songs on it right now.
Probably room for another 4K or so.
Run a dock cable to it and the the 3.5 plug to the HK, which charges it at the same time. Velcro the Ipod to the brake fluid resivoir.
Been runnin' it this way for 4 years and no issues yet.
Just gotta keep updatin' Itunes. Really dig it!!

I have the Zumo 655 now but before that I used my phone. I just put it on airplane mode and used the media player. It hardly uses any battery life in airplane mode so it would last all day no problem,
