flashers coming on
did the DIY MOD of switching the yellow, and orange w/red tracer wire locations to keep yhe driving lights on in both low & high beam positions,,but now when i come to a stop the emerg, flasher will come on sometimes,,it has happened three times since i switched the wires,,mod works good,,everything else still works,, ANY IDEAS????

Check all grounds, to make sure they are clean and resistance free. If that doesn't help, all I can suggest is go over your changes with a fine tooth comb. Otherwise restore it how it was before you started, to see if the problem goes away. In any event you have either got something wrong, or have bumped into an old wiring problem. Not easy to diagnose over the internet!

You can put it back stock and get the passing lamp harness the dealer sells to keep em on all the time, 25 bucks and you have your acc switch for other things. 18 bucks on fleabay. Just another option in case you cant figure it out. Good luck man.
