You completely missed my other point also. Everyday citizens DO NOT have the authority to dictate what I do, even though I may not be guilty of what we are discussing. I doubt a citizens arrest would work today, you'd better be wearing the best made combat gear if you decide to attempt it...

My point was that there are officers who DO have the authority to enforce laws, and even though they cannot catch every infraction committed, it does not leave room for those who get pissed because somebody isn't adhering to the law(s), using what they consider good sense, or proper driving etiquette. Get pissed all you want, if you do anything more then you may also be breaking the law...
This post is a prefect example of a left lane lover that gets His panties in a wad because someone else wants to go faster than what "he" thinks is acceptable.
Hey bro, the road ain't yours.

Frankly, your attitude is EXACTLY what causes road rage.

I'm in Florida too, and I run across people like you almost every day.
Sometimes it escalates and I could give a rats *** whether or not you take a picture of my plate and file a complaint. There are two sides to every story.

I just can't see why it's such a big deal to stay out of the left hand lane or move over when faster traffic approaches.

Actually sir, you are the "aggressive driver" in this case.you are the person who instigates the incident by looking in your rear view mirror trying to dictate how fast someone else can drive.

Just move the F over.
Let it go.

We need state, federal, and NRA protection backing that if someone in a 4 wheel vehicle may do you harm by their actions, you may take what ever action necessary to protect yourself. I'm not one to give up easy, but it's so dam dangerous on the road you get to thinking about it.
Clearly, you should NOT exercise your 2nd amendment right.

True story.Driving in the center lane one night a car with one headlight out was coming up on me fast. In front of me was a MARKED county police car. He then proceeded (which I was praying he did) to tailgate the officer at 60 mph for about 1/2 mile. The cop pulled over, let him pass and then pulled him over. I was LMFAO. There are some total morons out there!

Some people need to learn how to read.

what don't you understand about a TWO LANE HIGHWAY? THE DUDE PULLED OVER IN A BIKE LANE? PLEASE PUT DOWN YOUR DRINK AND READ WHAT HE SAID.

Drivers in a 5000 pound vehicle who in their privileged mind decide you deserve to be killed because of your speed? Same people who say she drank too much so she deserved it.

This thread has been hilarious (but serious)…what we could surmise..

Don’t draw on someone just cuz we’re angry: check.

Clown in car may have gun too, crap: check.

Conceal carry is cool (mine too): check.

Some folks say things just to vent (imagine that): check.

Cager vs bike, bike loses: check.

Homicide by gun and car, same same: check.

Speed up or move the heck over: check.

Don’t move over? Don’t be surprised you’re #1: check.

Many cagers could care less about our safety: check.

Pirates can be multilingual: check.

We can lighten up a bit: check.

Ride safely, check.
I agree with the already mentioned, "learning has again taken place." Now let’s go ride, park it at home and then have a cold one. Cheers!

Can't teach stupid, it's a free Country so don't expect anything to change... Also, just because you have a license and insurance doesn't mean that the other person on the road does... Keep your head on a swivel and always expect the other driver to do the dumbest move possible on the road! Not saying what I would have done but I haven't been in the described situation. 90% of the time I drive/ride fast but am courteous to others while not being aggressive, still logging the miles with each passing day.

I am sure all of us have plenty of stories which we could talk about forever until we are blue in the face... Nothing will be solved anytime soon so ensure your own safety first...
