how about the women driving and putting on makeup, talking or texting, and eating a donut at the same time. just wanted to pass her then thinking rationally do I really want her behind me. Hell no, it is hard to control ones temper, but a bike can't win against a cage. Have to do some mental exams a lot lately with the *** out there. Then there was the trucker who got behind me on I30 because it was raining so hard could hardly see, trying to get to the next exit. Not everyone is a *** but we all know most don't respect two wheels.
......I live in NY & it is bad here But Fl & Mass are the worst imhp - oh yeah Conn is shi--y too!!
my brother, who lives on the n.y./mass border (on the n.y. side) refers to the mass drivers as mass-holes. but hey, i live in maryland and drive the d.c. beltway.....this area is bad too. they just don't teach driving like they used to. its no longer on the road, here anyway, and is in a parking lot with "simulated" conditions. the brunt of training falls on the parent, not a professional.....and that explains a lot of md's problem. jmho
The OP sounds like he was in the right but around here if you're doing the posted speed limit you're going to have someone up your rear (unless going through a small town). The OP posted he was doing 60 in a 55 with my last two HD's if I was doing an indicated 60 I knew I was going slower than that (GPS verified) but my car is dead accurate so if I'm in my car your barley doing the speed limit in my mind/indicated. Being right is all well and good but I'd rather be safe and ride faster.
Good link....accurate as far as Arkansas is concerned. Hard to enforce in a marked unit though.

This post is a prefect example of a left lane lover that gets His panties in a wad because someone else wants to go faster than what "he" thinks is acceptable.
Hey bro, the road ain't yours.
Frankly, your attitude is EXACTLY what causes road rage.
I'm in Florida too, and I run across people like you almost every day.
Sometimes it escalates and I could give a rats *** whether or not you take a picture of my plate and file a complaint. There are two sides to every story.
I just can't see why it's such a big deal to stay out of the left hand lane or move over when faster traffic approaches.
Actually sir, you are the "aggressive driver" in this case.you are the person who instigates the incident by looking in your rear view mirror trying to dictate how fast someone else can drive.
Just move the F over.
Let it go.
I'm not reading any further than these two posts. There is no more to be said!

I have also noticed that when a marked unit gets behind them, they move over as well. That speaks volumes in my opinion. I'd write a 1000 tickets a day to these folks if they'd give me a unmarked car to work in! Retirement in just a few more months.....can't come soon enough!!!
There are a lot of people who shouldn't have a drivers license...there are also a lot of people who shouldn't have a conceal carry permit...I think both should be much harder to obtain.
On my way home today on a two lane highway with posted limit of 55 (I'm doing 60) some yahoo is on my ***. He gets impatient and decides to pass. What the F he didn't see the two bikes heading in the opposite direction with full headlights and aux lights as bright as day? I started to pull off on the bicycle lane so not to be caught up in this. Good news is all ended without incident. This was no blue haired senior citizen who shouldn't be driving, it was a young punk *** kid. Fifteen minutes later another A-Hole right behind me. If I pull out the concealed I go to jail. We need state, federal, and NRA protection backing that if someone in a 4 wheel vehicle may do you harm by their actions, you may take what ever action necessary to protect yourself. I'm not one to give up easy, but it's so dam dangerous on the road you get to thinking about it.
I say "Blast the F@#Ker" and worry about the consequences later.

Actually Dave, the same thing happened to me a few minutes ago.
I'd had enough of the "Yahoo" on my tail so I pulled the PitBull out. I turned around in the saddle and started firing. Being right handed, my aim is not so good with my left. Missed em with all 6. As I reloaded (darn six shooter) I lane drifted into oncoming traffic. Actually drifted right between the headlights of a chick on a Can Am.
We were both killed on impact but it isn't as bad as it sounds cuz she was texting at the time.
