I have a 2013 Street Glide with around 5k on it. Purchased some CFR's (NEW) and put them on around 1k miles.
They started rusting around the welds in May and I contacted Cary and he said to try WD40 on them.
In June the chrome started flaking off on the caps on both exhausts. I have sent him multiple emails with pictues and have called him and left a voice mail and have not gotten a call back. Ive been trying to contact him for a month now and have not gotten anything so it looks like I'm stuck with a $600+ pair of poorly chromed pipes.
Here is some pictures of the pipes. If your considering CFR's I would look else ware.
The bike by the way is stored in the garage at my house so it does not see the elements. I use Adams's products to detail all my vehicles. The bike stays very clean.
That is unacceptable. The mark of a good company is how well they stand behind their product. There are mpre and more stories I hear of companies shafting consumers with legitimate complaints for poorly manufactured products. It just is not right...
I've been waiting on a backorder for 2 months to get a set of these pipes!!!!!!! Is this what I have to look forward to? I'm surprised he isn't returning calls though, I have spoken with cary himself twice while waiting for these pipes. I know the whole reason for the backorder situation is becouse he was having problems with his chromers and had to find someone else to do the job.

I was on the wait list since late March, I was about ready to cancel and I ended up getting a set that is a model that is not officially released yet (at least not then). This set was from the new chromer. I have only had them on about a month... I will definitely keep an eye on them and report back if I see any trouble.
