Wont be long till I will need new tires for RKC. Yes the wide whites look cool and are OEM but are booger to keep clean. Anyone switched over to the narrow whites on the RKC and like the look and reduced cleaning or go completely blackwall?
I turned my RKC into a Road King, hard bags, cast wheels, straight cut exhaust tips and black wall tires. I would much rather ride than clean and while it may look great the day you clean it, there are a lot more days after you clean than there are days it was just cleaned. To be very frank, I am amazed at the number of questions asked which ONLY the one asking can answer for himself, and this is one of them. What do YOU want, it makes no difference what anyone else thinks about a Classic that has black walls or anything else. Just look at the extra money you must spend just to buy all of that extra work, so, what do YOU want? After all, it's your money, spend it as you wish.

Well I took my RK and gave it a classic look by adding the wide white walls and love it. It came with smooth profile spoke wheels and narrow white walls but I much prefer the wide! Yes they do get dirty and it's extra work to clean them but I think the look outweighs the trouble.
I LOVE wide white walls. So much so, I almost didn't get my Anniversary model in favor of the Classic. After weighing everything, I went with the Anni model and just planned to swap to the Wide White Walls when I wear these out. Anyways, now it seems they may not have them in the proper size for my bike. 17 front and 180 rear. Anyways, I digress, Wide White Walls always look the best to me. I am more than willing to invest the time to keep them clean because the look makes it all worth while.
