(Rule #1,,, Never use your head as a hammer!!)
Congrats on the your new scoot!
If only we could be rich enough to keep them all!
But I'm sure your love for your new StreetGlide will eventually replace Agnes.
Enjoy brother!
........ my wife has trouble getting on and off of the heritage.. she has real short leggs. .........
What makes you think she wouldn't also have trouble getting on a Touring bike?
I'm not trying to talk you out of trading, but it would seem to me the Touring bike would be just as hard or harder for her to get on.
FYI: You might want to get those leather saddle bag covers or she'll probably scratch the heck out of the lids.
heres a couple craptacular phone shots ..one has mostly my grandson( my favorite person on the planet) 08 with fresh deep blue pearl paint original color was the Merlot sun-glow i believe. Reinhardt exhaust, 11k miles, 12.5 apes wired for sound one owner, and serviced well. they gave me asking price for my bike so im pretty happy....
Next come the mods.
You'll be putting $$$$ in your new ride and getting it right for you.
You may not think so at the onset, but that will quickly change.
That's sorta fun but kinda a PIA too
Was in the same boat as you, traded the heritage in on my FLHX and have not missed the Heritage for a second! The wife loves the new ride also and that's always a plus!! Definitely look into some sort of protection for those saddlebag lids because she is gonna nail them eventually...don't ask me how I know this....
