Anyways, here's the pics without all the rails and modified side covers.
You did a nice job on that conversion. One of the best that I've seen. Are the rear mufflers clamps/mounts solid or still rubber mounted in some way?

Thanks for the like. They are mounted by clamps and used corktape inbetween the pipes and clamps. Made a bracket and mounted to axle bolt with self tapping screws as there are already holes there.

The front of pipes are mounted stock. They were solid without clamps but just wanted stability on road.

I removed all mounting hardware for bags and pipes but can put back on easily with 5 bolts

Do the mufflers move up and down with the wheel? what do you do to pivot them at the head pipes?

LOVE the bikes in this thread!!!! I've always liked the classic/retro look; my last bike was a 2012 RKC with the two-tone black/green stock paint and not much else....Sold it cause of work, kids, life, blah, blah, blah. Sooooo, when I started looking recently for another RK, that classic/retro look absolutely drove my decision making. After six weeks of looking, I stumbled on this on my local CL page.....Bought it same day I saw it. 1999 RKC, looks like it just rolled off the factory floor......
Question for the pros here: I've also always liked the look of the Arlen Ness Monster Sucker ACs......Is that even an option to put on mine? Thanks again, and man you all have some sweet rides!

Thanks man! My jaw hit the floor when I first saw it....IMO, That retro look really starts with a two-tone paint job. Mrs. Seano is getting pissed cause I just go out in the garage and stare at her......

Just cleaning and tinkering. Looking to change the bars, I'd like more of a beach bar. I'd like to move turn signals (fronts) under the spots, need some bag liners and maybe a little different fish tail exhaust.

As others have pointed out, I'm most definitely headed in a bit of a different direction and away from 'nostalgic look', but I still love all these different Classics! I did end up with a nice Motherwell fender rail after reading this thread. So thanks for that. Still undecided on guard rails for the bags...but I do think I want them. Not going to do rails on front and rear fenders, I have enough chrome there.

The Wood 555 cams were installed this week, apparently I have 96 cubes now, feels very different between 2500-5500 rpm! The tune from Fuel Moto is pretty good, just needs a few little tweaks.
