Default Aftermarket lower owners

Are they worth the savings. I only plan to ue them in colder weather. Should i look at aftermarket????? or bite the bullet and buy the OEM? Is there that much of a difference?

Im running Fairing Factory Vented Lowers, got them painted Vivid Black, with magnetic glove box doors and quick detach hardward delivered to my door for about $350.00.

They almost never come off now and look and work great. There is also another company Matazu that sell lowers painted black and they have good reviews

worth the money...the glove box area is a little lighter grey but that's it...everything else is just fine

Just got Matuza's for 179.00. Love them, only one small flaw in the paint and the glove boxes aren't a leather like material, all hard plastic. Haven't taken them off yet. Definitely help with highway fatigue.

if you go with the vivid black, the aftermarket ones can be a good deal. however, if you want to have them color matched, then you are better off going with the oem unless you are a painter/know a painter, etc.

in the case of big blue pearl, by the time you get done paying for the lowers, then the paint, you've already exceeded the cost of the hd ones, and that isn't even considering labor to paint/prep yet.

you do not have to pay full pop for the lowers. i bought mine (denim black) from zanotti's for less than $500. the other colors were a little more, i think around $530.

all i'm saying is, do your due diligence. think about the total cost, not just the initial outlay.

Good point. Mine is vivid black so I had no worries.

Matuza is now selling lowers in a flat black. Not sure how close a match it is to denim. If I could see how close the paint was it might be worth it cause there is a pretty huge price diff even if going one of the 20% off dealers.

even if it isn't that close, you could always rattlecan the lowers with john deere blitz black and it'll be an almost exact match. going rattlecan on the lowers isn't like doing a fuel tank or fenders, probably get by just fine on that.

Did that include all the mounting hardware in the price?
