Installed a SS 106 kit in my 09 ultra now my wife says her feet a vibrating off floor boards. Has anybody heard of this or can anybody tell me what is going on? Thanks
Sounds like it's time for a new ol. In all seriousness, it it's just a bore kit, then I would assume it's an exhaust routing issue. If not, something must be out of balance, but you should be feeling it as well. If you don't feel it, see my first suggestion...
I swapped header pipes recently and that caused a low rpm vibration/buzz in my foot boards. Still haven't figured it out, but it has to be exhaust related. The only place I can find where the pipe might be touching the frame is at the crossover clamp. It is very annoying to have a vibration that wasn't there before a mod. Good luck in finding the problem.
I also had new rear tire installed wondering if it would be out of balance a little bit but I do not feel anything in my foot boards. Maybe jus2anoyu is right need to find new ol
I had a crank scissor on a bike one time, it made one hell of a vibration. But I felt it equally. Harley denied it being anything but 'normal' they ended up buying the bike back because of a primary leak that couldn't be fixed. Had it in the shop like 8 times and it still leaked. The dealer that did the buyback swap fixed the leak and put it on the floor to sell. A friend of mine went by there and rode it and really wanted to buy it but the vibration was still there. Again, they said 'normal' It would easily put your feet to sleep on the foot boards. You could run the rpm up to about 1800-2000 and the windshield looked like a tuning fork.

Why don't you buy the Harley Anti Vibration Passenger Floorboards accessory kit? It's only $395.95 at your local dealer.
The crossover pipe looks like it is a long way from the floor boards
But it's not a long way from the frame. Do a search on vibrations related to exhaust and exhaust crossovers. I found several references to it while searching for a solution to my vibration problem.
