Default custom dynamics led turn signals

so I bought some cd led turn signals for the front and the back on my 09 rk. most of it is easy just plug and play. is anyone having trouble with hd lenses fitting with the cd led signals. for some reason it looks and feels like im getting a poor fit when I try putting my lenses back on. also im kinda confused with this positap deal. from what I can see, I only got 2 positaps and to me it seems like I need 4, correct? because I have 2 wires on each side that need to be spliced. any help would be greatly appreciated, this bike needs to get back on the road.

Not sure what year or model bike you have but my 2010 SG was plug and play like a normal light bulb. Do you have pictures of the posi taps you mention, are they for the bulbs or the load equalizer?
Mine fit perfect and I just traded a spare set I had for a buddies 13 CVO road glide and it fit perfect. I put the led in first and then snap the cover over, at first I tried putting the led in the lens and snapping them on that way and it didn't work. Good luck, great lights!

Call CD customer service...they're excellent w/assistance and I know the installations suck so it's best to have them clarify what's required.

For the posi-taps, guessing the signal stabilizer just needs to tap into your bike wiring in "two points" but I'm waiting for my set to arrive so can't be 100% until next week.

So i tried calling them and they were too busy ... Just curious , did anybody have to drill the tailight and where is the best spot or alternative? And do they want you to splice into the actual tail light wiring for the turn signals?

Not quite sure I follow you here. If you ordered the right lights for your bike, they should all be plug and play. No splicing at all. The two posi taps should be for the load equalizer, which will need to be spliced into your wiring harness.

I bought the dynamic clusters for the rear.. I have a red and orange wire they want me to run to the taillight and posi tap into a running power source and a brake power source. My load equalizer is plug and play with the battery connections

You have to drill into the reflector inside the turn signal. If you look close enough, you'll see that the reflector will indeed pop out also if you pry from the right place. Be careful not to damage the rubber seal.

I drilled in the lower corner of the reflector. Be careful not to get too crazy with the drill!

If you can, take the turn signals off the bike and do this, as it would be much easier.

You're confusing me too (OP)...I watched CD's video and it never mentions "drilling" andwhere:

Also the installation instructions (signal stabilizer = http://www.customdynamics.com/instru...ndard-fuse.pdf) don't indicate drilling's required so...what are you trying to connect? Pics would help here...

Those are for the bullet style turn signals, i have the flat style... The fronts are plug and play, the rears are a little more tedious .... The instructions are kinda poor on indicating where to posi tap into the right wires...i would call them, but its the weekend and im trying to get this thing going for the weekend.
