That sounds about right, the local indy here charges $250-$300 to perform a dyno for a custom fuel injection map. Also says that you will receive a chart with the horsepower and torque as well as the air/fuel chart.

I'd assume they down load the map and your good to go.

Let me know, when is the dyno scheduled for?

Dropping off Monday and will pick up Tuesday morning. I'll stop by towards the end to just check it out. Do most people try and watch the whole thing?

Yes, it's interesting, but bring earplugs!

Why not, how else you gonna learn what it takes to tune one. Of course you could be one of those that don't care to know such things and just want it to work.....just saying.

OP,
What tuner is your Indy going to use? I'd suggest that you take a stick drive with you and have the Indy transfer the final tune to the stick drive. If he's using a TTS, you can even save your factory base map before you start. You have to be paying for a tuner, so what is he going to use?

I have the screamin eagle pro super tuner. Can I still bring a flash drive and have him transfer the map to it with that tuner?

Yes, he should be able to do that and should!!. However, the SEPro will not save your base map. My TTS calibration is saved on both my home computers One being a laptop and two stick drives. When I'm on a trip the laptop and TTS and one flash drive ride along. If I have to make a change due to a $hithead dealer, I can reflash the base map very quickly and they never know.

Call Steve Cole at TTS and see if he can convert your SEPro to a TTS, Used to cost about $100.00 and you'll be able to do so much more if you have a laptop and learn how to V-Tune. Once Married to your bike the SEPro is there unless you change it, same with the TTS. If your tuner can go with a TTS 2 and you haven't used the Pro yet, I'd advise getting your money back from HD and get the TTS2 from your tuner.

Best of Luck,
Buddy.....

I have the Power vision. Instead of a laptop and memory sticks I can bring jusr the unit (about the size of a gps) and do the same thing. In fact it saved saved me on my last trip when my ecm threw some codes and would not let me clear them through tje odometer.

That's fine, but the OP already has a SEPro and if that is what his tuner wants to use and is familiar with it will be better for him. I was only suggesting the possibility of upgrading his SEPro, or trading back out for the TTS2 if it has not been used and married to his bike. In any event, he needs to get her tuned properly.
